I love that Salazar has a ribbon tied around his neck. It makes it look like he’s been hanged and brought back to life as a peeved executioner’s victim.
Which would very much fit the time, since guillotines were new, people couldn’t shoot a target for shit, electricity didn’t exist and nobody knew what lethal injection or gas chamber’s were back then.
It’s not a ribbon, it’s a cravat, and most men wore them in the 17th and 18th centuries.
It’s a freaking French word I should have known this GDI. (Because there’s the Italian word for it, cravatta, which is almost identical.)
Still, Salazar wearing the equivalent of an old timey necktie is awesome. Gotta love Javier Bardem wearing fancy neckwear.
